Birth photography is becoming one of the fastest growing genres in photography. Preserving the ability to be welcomed in the birth space has never been more crucial. However, if birth photographers do not know how to handle themselves professionally in a medical setting, as well as on social media, their ability to tell these stories as authentically as they are right now could be compromised. You will also learn how to overcome harsh light, and utilize flash effectively and professionally. Given the intimate nature of birth photography, understanding your client's level of comfort is crucial when composing and curating what images are shared publicly.
