It's Personal: Cultivating Personal Projects FULL
Limited Capacity full

Are you working on or thinking of starting a personal project? Join Angela in this small group workshop as she helps you develop a project that helps you learn and grow as an artist, and gives you something meaningful to work towards. Personal projects range from taking a picture a day, photographing your relationship with your grandmother, or exploring climate issues in your area. Create something that is purposeful, interesting and personal to you, brainstorm ideas on what you have already started),or refine what you are passionate about.

Angela will lead a discussion about types of personal projects and examples. As a group you will also brainstorm ideas to help cultivate creative ways to execute projects, and there will be a list of ways to get your mind thinking about what to explore. Attendees will learn how to maintain a project, know when it has failed, and to know when it is completed.

Learning Objectives:

- Learn how to start a personal project
- Learn how to maintain a personal project once it is complete
- Learn how to find patterns within your work to create a personal project
- Learn ways to present your projects once they finish
