Organic Depth and Movement in Portraits LIMITED
Limited Capacity seats available

Join Kelsey as she teaches you to think on your feet! She will demonstrate her approach on using depth and movement to create more interest when shooting portraits. Kelsey will dive into topics like being resourceful by using everyday objects in portraiture, or using the surrounding environment to aid in creating more depth. She will also teach you ways of making clients and models feel more at ease, and how you can integrate organic feeling and movement in the frame, even when a couple is less comfortable in front of the camera.

This class will be held outdoors in a park setting with a real couple where you will learn and then shoot alongside Kelsey. Please bring your two favorite portrait lenses.

Learning Objectives:

- Learn how to pose more creatively with different angles to create more depth in portraits
- Learn how to make clients feel more at ease in front of the camera to create emotional depth
- Learn how to add more movement organically by guiding the couple into what feels more natural rather than just telling them what to do
- Learn how to think more "on your toes" when posing
- Learn how to use light intentionally rather than experimentally
- Learn how to use one's environment and natural light to set the tone/mood of the portraits, and to create more depth
