In this program, attendees will learn how to create a beautifully curated maternity session by shooting alongside Jessica in Piedmont Park. While utilizing the stone pathways and fresh spring blooms, Jessica will be teaching while she shoots, how she picks locations, uses back and side lighting, and prompts and guides clients in a natural way without using forced poses. Jessica will also teach how she places clients and uses specific angles that best compliment the client. Attendees will be able to shoot the model(s) alongside Jessica while also watching and learning from her. There will be a quick teaching portion to this class in addition to shooting alongside Jessica

You are encouraged to be comfortable shooting in manual mode and should bring along a 50mm, 85mm, 100/105mm, or other portrait lenses.

- Learn how curate and style a maternity session to compliment location and clients best
- Learn how to prepare clients before the session by guiding them with wardrobe and styling
- Learn how to analyze the location to pick out the best spots for placing subjects
- Learn how to guide and direct clients into natural poses
- Learn what type of light to look for and placing subjects to be back lit or side lit
