Setting the Mood: A Dutch Masters Influence FULL

There's power in the classic portrait. Join Meg Loeks as she demonstrates how to create timeless children's portraits inspired by the great Dutch Masters. From window light, to mixed light, to created light using OCF and continuous lighting, attendees will learn the importance and power of shadows. Meg will show how both natural and created light can be seamless and cohesive. Attendees will study various types of low light such as side, Rembrandt and even learn how to create backlight using off-camera flash. When natural light fails or is nonexistent, learn some simple and quick ways to create a window anywhere, anytime. Meg will also demonstrate how to enhance storytelling in children's portraiture through purposeful layering. Discover how to add powerful symbolism and meaning to your portraits that makes them anything but traditional.
